Estimation of growth rates of Acipenser persicus Borodin, 1897 in cage farming conditions and in a water recycling facility

Abstract

The article presents data on the study of growth rate of young Persian sturgeon, morphometric indices. Fish-biological indicators are analyzed. The analysis of growing young sturgeons using the cage method in quarry-type reservoirs is presented, which showed promising results, but revealed a number of problems arising in the summer period. The prospect of using a combined method of growing Persian sturgeon in conditions of quarry reservoirs and in closed water supply systems is shown.
