Crystalline and molecular structure of ETHYLENACETAL-1-(3,3-DIMETHYL-2 OXOBUTYL)-2,3-INDOLINEDIONE
Abstract
The crystalline and molecular structure of the ethylenacetal-1-(3,3-dimethyl-2- oxobutyl)-2,3-indolinedione (I), C16H19NO4, is reported. Compound crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P-1, a=13.237(2), b=11.575(2), c=13.043(2) Å, =114.200(3), β=122.090(3), γ=86.470(3)º, V=1512.4(4) Å3 , Z=4, ρ=1.271 Mg m-3 , μ=0.091 mm-1 , F(000)=616, T=290 K, final R=0.0539 (wR=0.1451) for 2055 observed reflections. Two crys- tallographically independent molecules are in independent part of the unit cell. Molecu- lar geometry and conformational differences for two molecules are discussed. Molecules in the crystals are connected by weak C-H...O bonds, C-H... π interactions.
