The interference with transapical transcatheter aortic valve implantation by the anterior chordae tendineae preserved at previous mitral valve replacement
Abstract
Abstract Preserved anterior chordae tendineae is a possible risk factor for disturbing delivery of a transcatheter heart valve. Inserting a sheath just below the aortic valve for delivery of the transcatheter heart valve might be proposed as an alternative to avoid the chordae tendineae.
