Antakya-Kahramanmaraş Grabeninde Kızılçam (Pinus brutia Ten.) Orman Alanları ile Yağış Arasındaki İlişkilerin MODIS Verileri (2000-2010) Kullanılarak İncelenmesi

Abstract

The most extensive spreading of Pinus brutia is found in Turkey. In this study, test areas of pine forest from different climatic characteristics-including parts of Antakya-Kahramanmaraş Graben were determined. According to the results, pine forests exhibited significant responses to rainfall conditions. Vegetation index values were higher in the southern parts of Antakya-Kahramanmaraş Graben while they exhibited lower reflection properties in the north of the graben towards Kahramanmaraş border depending on the declining rainfall
