Summary: In this article, we report on the long-term follow-up of a microvascular penile replantation resulting from self-inflicted amputation in a schizophrenic patient. An interdisciplinary approach with the involvement of urology, plastic surgery, endocrinology, and psychiatry is imperative for optimal treatment of these catastrophic injuries.
