Discours de genre dans les « Histoires d’Amour » attribuées à Plutarque
Abstract
The Gunaikon Aretai, the Virtues of women, or the Commendable conducts of women by Plutarch, constitute a collection of praiseworthy actions by women either in isolation or in groups. Certain narratives seem to set a parallel between feminine and masculine ways of behaviour. They make it possible to refine an approach of gender in Greek discourses and nuance a too strict system of opposition between masculinity and femininity. “Love Stories” which are not solely gender stories because they cannot be dissociated from two other systems of classification in the cities, one which differentiates the age groups and the other which discriminates the citizen from the non-citizen.
