This paper reports a numerical study of steady free convection and mass transfer flow of a conducting micropolar fluid between two vertical walls in the presence of temperature dependent heat source/sink and chemical reaction under the influence of a transverse magnetic field. The numerical solution of the governing differential equations are obtained by using a fourth-order Runge-Kutta method along with the shooting technique for a wide range of emerging parameters. A striking result is to note that microrotation is independent of the material property and vortex viscosity in the middle layers of the channel. The conformity of the findings of the present study is in good agreement with the results reported earlier in the absence of mass transfer associated with a chemical reaction. doi:10.14456/WJST.2015.53
