La autotraducción de José María Arguedas: heterolingüismo y (re)escritura diglósica
Abstract
This paper focuses on the analysis of José María Arguedas’ self-translations. From the comparison between the two versions (Quechua-Spanish), we will analyse how the author-translator opts for opposite and complementary tendencies oscillating between the wish to conform the text to the norms of the target culture and the desire to let a transcultural linguistics perspective emerge. The textualization of diglossia determines not only the presence of heterolinguism but also the possibility of specifying a process of textual rewriting, that is able to create a cross-border and migrant writing.
