Hepatic portal venous gas: An incidental finding in a patient with pyloric stenosis
Abstract
We report the case of 30-day-old full-term female who presented with a oneweek history of postfeed emesis. On work up, ultrasound revealed hypertrophic pyloric stenosis, and echogenic gas in the liver and in the portal system. The patient subsequently underwent open pylorotomy and had an uneventful recovery.
