Research on Design of 3M3T Metro Vehicle PermanentMagnet Traction System Characteristics

Abstract

3M3T metro vehicle of permanent magnet traction system was introduced, and compared with 4M2T metro vehicleof asynchronous motor traction system, the comparisons in train performance parameters showed 3M3T permanent magnet tractionsystem could wholly meet 4M2T asynchronous motor traction system. And by design different whole train traction/brake characteristics,could make full use of the high power density advantage of permanent magnet motor, reduced the max current of devices and reduceddependence of adhesion coefficient.
