Recherche d'une formule barymétrique adaptée aux bovins de type Djakoré des élevages villageois du Sénégal Oriental

Abstract

Research for a barymetrical formula suitable to Djakore cattle type in village herds from Eastern Senegal. 4 336 bovines of Djakore type were weighed and measured at heart girth during three consecutive years. The authors present formula and tables to transform heart girth into liveweight very usefull for expert who help the Peul cattle breeders from Eastern Senegal.
