This article deals with environmental issues, in particular the complex and multifaceted relationship between waste management and urban populations. Its goal is to analyze the perception of the community on the management of urban solid waste, focusing on the difficulties that green public policies still face. The research is grounded in the methodological procedures of exploratory and qualitative research investigation.
