Anaesthesia with feeling and sense
Abstract
When a person decides to be surgically operated on, multiple sensations may be experimented throughout all the process. At these so vital moments, we, as nurses, must care with sense, with a theoretical guidance that supports our action, and paying attention to the relationship from person to person. In our hospital the relation with the person in all the surgical process is very close and suitable to the patient. The same nurse is the one who takes care of the person during all the anaesthetic phases. Objectives: To give sense to the nurses’ actions within the anaesthetic process, paying attention to the relationship from person to person, having us an impact of the importance that Joyce Travelbee gives to this matter. To show that the relation is an important element and that is joined to cares of quality. Our poster shows the importance of the relationship from person to person, and the work that the nurses of this hospital develop during the anaesthetic process. We expose a work where it is wanted to transmit the importance of the relationship from person to person, within the context of the nursery cares in anaesthesia.
