Abstract Purpose: The purpose of this research is to identify cloud-based storage software that has archival capability and check out their features to the most appropriate software for having the features specified and introduced to internal archive centers. Methodology: The study is descriptive and is based on a survey and library study. A researcher-constructed checklist and taking notes are used to collect the data. The statistical population of this research is 22 cloud-based storage softwares that has archival capability Which were selected by purposive sampling. Findings: The findings suggest that Cross-platform softwares have many benefits for both users and software developers and The greatest weakness of the software in this study in the software platform, Contains platforms for iOS and Android. On the features of software cloud storage, Encryption, file sharing, access control and backup had the most support; The biggest weakness of the statistical softwares in this area is the weakness in the version control feature. Result: The results of this study identify both X Cloud and luckycloud as the most appropriate cloud-based storage software that has archival capability for use in internal archives.
