INVESTIGATION OF THE ENGLAND AND TURKEY AMPUTEE FOOTBALL TEAMS’ SUCCESS BY SEVERAL FACTORS

Abstract

The population of the disabled also increases in proportion to the rapid increase of the world population. Sport is one of the most important ways to minimize the lack of obstacles that disabled people who are approximately 15% of the world's population have in their daily lives and to integrate them with the society they live in. When it comes to sports, football is the main sport of the most important sports in Europe, especially in terms of popularity. This is similar to amputee football which is a sport of physical disability. In our research, based on a variety of international data and results, the success of the England and Turkey football teams were examined. As a result, Turkey amputee football team seems to be more successful than England amputee football team. The most important factor of the success of Turkey Amputee Football Team is that Turkey amputee football team operates depending on the mainstream sports federation (TFF). England’s economic and social support which is six times more aid than Turkey couldn’t make it more successful in amputee football in England. It’s seen that the economic and social data obtained in the research don’t have any effect on the international success of the amputee football of the two countries.
