Achieving educational quality in Mexico has long been a difficult task, which has led the federal government to generate further reforms in education. In particular, the formation of basic education teachers, going through a transition period from the implementation of curriculum reform in education Average, which meets the requirements of the professionalization of the teaching career. The new curriculum 2012 raises a number of general and professional competencies that future teachers will have to develop during their initial training; a determining factor in the achievement of the graduate profile is the academic and personal fitness of students enrolled in the Normal Education. Hence the importance of analyzing and assessing young people who are aspiring to the teaching profession, how is the reality of the selection processes that are experienced in teacher training institutions and what is the current regulations to regulate the entry. Triangular recognize that this analysis allows to improve the quality of teacher training is necessary to generate highly selective mechanisms to get the most suitable people with a desire to train and teach.
