SIMULATION MODEL OF TRANSPORT NETWORK SECTION

Abstract

The research of the scientific article is aimed at solving the problem of traffic congestion and optimizing the movement of vehicle flows. After analyzing the problem of road congestion, a simulation model of a section of the transport network of the city of Khabarovsk was developed, as close as possible to reality. The results of the experiments showed that the regulation of the considered intersection is, in general, effective, with minor shortcomings that can be corrected to improve the transport situation.
