Gender and gender violence in school space

By the light the Discourse Analysis theorical-methodological assumptions, the present work aims to present a research project in progress, focusing on one of its results: the collective elaboration of a comics history about gender and gender violence, whose proposal is to circulate in different spaces, especially in the school space. The exposition is structured as follows: in order to begin, theoretical-analytical reflections will be developed about the recrudescence of the conservative discourse in Brazilian social formation, especially in relation to gender theme. It´s relevant to understand how such question is mobilizated with goal to determinet what can and should to teach in the school space. Next, a discussion about gender will be undertaken and how the School Ideological Apparatus acts for the reproduction of production relations, as well as theoretical perspectives that defend the school's need to take on the debate of themes such as gender and sexuality. The final section will be dedicated to the presentation and brief analysis of a comic book, through some cuts. With themes related to gender issues and gender violence in their more subtle and everyday gestures, the comics book somehow visibilizes and makes circulate historys of socially segregated subjects.
