Dynamic Reconfigurable Intelligent Microwave Photonics Network

Abstract

Microwave photonics（MWP）uses the strength of photonic techniques to generate, transfer, process, control and networking for broadband microwave signals. Some notable challenges were analyzed to apply dynamic reconfigurable intelligent microwave photonics network. By integrating specific wireless cellular system with fiber access network, some key technologies such as link transfer, signal processing, system modeling and design, etc were discussed. And some experimental research works of the proposed network were reported, then the experiment results were analyzed. In the end, the future application directions in dynamic reconfigurable intelligent microwave photonics network were pointed out.
