PECULIARITIES OF THE REFLECTION OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR THEME IN THE NORTH CAUCASIAN POEM
Abstract
Purpose. The aim is to study the specifics of the Great Patriotic War theme on poem material in the works of the North Caucasian authors. Method. The work uses the comparative-historical, structural-semiotic methods of investigation. Results. The main motives and imperative formulas of poetry about the Great Patriotic War are investigated, two depiction models are pinpointed as the main ones: a naturalistic model (demonstrativeness technique) and contemplation upon tragedy of the war from a historicism position (a retrospective look). It is shown that transition from purely emotional and illustrative presentation of the war reality to its analysis that included social and historical and philosophical understanding was followed by using the conditional forms of generalization (an allegory, a metaphor) that promote unbiased interpretation of tragic of the past. Innovation is the introduction of folklore elements, i.e. weeping, contrasting means (depicting the beauty and harmony of nature and the destructive forces of war), as well as developed associative thinking is believed to be quite innovative. Such novelty of figurative thinking was vividly shown in the poem genre, mainly in heroic-biographic poems and dedication poems. Practical implications. The results of the research can be used in the course of the scientific projects, in the preparation of textbooks and special courses on literature of the peoples of the North Caucasus.
