Meningite secundária a seio dérmico dorsal infectado em região torácica - um relato de caso

Abstract

Infant presenting with clinical and laboratory features of meningitis with progressive neurological deficit leading to the diagnosis of intramedullary abscess due to dorsal dermal sinus in the thoracic region. The case report aims to emphasize the importance of a careful evaluation of skin stigmata located in the midline, so that there is the possibility of an adequate diagnosis, in an attempt to avoid neurological sequelae.
