Italian University, fascism and postwar

Abstract

Embedded in the broad subject of the history of the university and its connections with the environment in which it develops, this article presents three periods in the history of the Italian university system: 1923-1950, 1950-1980, 1980-to present, emphasizing the organizational aspects and links with the current situation.
