This article is devoted to the question of social basis of the National-socialist party of Germany (NSDAP). The author argues against established point of view that Hitler came to power as the result of a conspiracy of big capital and the support, rendered him by the elites, that the working class was not a social base of the Nazis and supported only the so-called «workers’ parties», that the electoral potential of the NSDAP was exhausted by November 1932, and the KPD had large resources for the growth of the number of deputies in the Reichstag, but this was interrupted by the advent of the Nazis to power.
