BACKGROUND This article provides preliminary clinical results on the Bi-implant system, which was developed to simplify surgical procedure.Materials and Total of 114 implants (52 maxillary and 62 mandibular) were placed in 85 patients. Themethods implants were placed in healed sites. Before II. stage procedure healing times of 3 monthsfor the mandible and 4 months for the maxilla were allowed. Cumulative survival rateswere calculated for up to 36 months of follow-up after surgery. RESULTS 2 implants failed during the healing period, none failed after prosthetic rehabilitation. CONCLUSIONS These preliminary data suggest that the Bi-Implant system can be predictable
