Stress-strain behaviour of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structures presents challenges in predicting their mechanical properties. Current studies are hindered by limitations in modelling its complex geometries. Therefore, this review aims to explore existing research on compression test which focus on stress-strain curve of TPMS structures. The stress-strain curve provides key understanding into their elastic, plastic, and failure behaviours under varying conditions. Factors such as structure, thickness, density, size effect, load condition, material and porosity reveal impacts on mechanical performance. Key findings emphasize the importance of wall thickness, where an increase from 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm leads to an approximately 183 % enhancement in compressive strength and elastic modulus. These discoveries provide valuable insights into the structural design of TPMS, enhancing their performance across various industries.
