STATISTICAL STUDY OF THE STANDARD OF LIVING OF THE POPULATION OF RUSSIA IN COMPARISON WITH OTHER COUNTRIES

Abstract

The paper presents the methodology for determining the human development index, makes calculations and analyzes the main indicators of the level of human development in the Russian Federation in the regional context, provides a rating assessment of countries by HDI, identified and identified inconsistencies in the methodology of indicators of living standards of the population in Russian and international statistics. The study made it possible to conclude about the stable growth of the human development Index in the Russian Federation for the period under study (2012-2016), as well as to predict its growth in the future. The authors note the high differentiation of the Federal districts of the Russian Federation in terms of the index of human development while maintaining a leading position in the ranking of the Central Federal district.
