NILAI-NILAI SEJARAH SEBARAN SITUS PENINGGALAN MASA ISLAM DI PALEMBANG SEBAGAI SUMBER PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH

Abstract

The aims of this study are (1) to identify the scatter of Islamic heritage sites in Palembang, (2) to identify the historical values contained in Islamic historical sites in Palembang that can be used as a source of historical learning. In this research we used historical method, namely: (1) Heuristics, in the form of field and library data such as journals, research reports, and others, (2) Data verification or sorting valid data so they are truly accounted for. After data verification has been carried out, (3) historical interpretation or historical interpretation was integrated from the data obtained, and last step was to carry out (4) Historiography or historical compilation and writing. Palembang is one of the areas with long history, especially during the development of Islam, where many relics of very important historical sites. The scatter of historical sites during the Islamic period contains historical values such as tenacity and struggle, also religious, social, and cultural values. These historical values can certainly be used as a source of interesting and important historical learning for the present and the future.
