Négocier sa position en et hors ligne en terrain féministe
Abstract
This paper, based on doctoral research on feminist communication strategies and activism practices in France in the early 21st century, examines how reflections on self-presentation in a conflictual space contribute to shaping the focus of research, and, more broadly, scientific inquiry itself. What does this plural negotiation entail? How can we account for it? How does it influence the various stages of ethnographic inquiry? What impact does this plural negotiation have on research construction, the investigative relationship, and, more broadly, the production of a feminist history? Using a netnographic approach to the feminist collective #NousToutes (2018–2021), this article explores two main themes: the conditions for entering a feminist field and the negotiation of research or of self in this conflictual space.
