Understanding the education-war interface

Abstract

There is an urgent need to improve understanding ofeducation’s role in contributing to conflict. The BirminghamInternational Education Security Index is an attempt togenerate qualitative and quantitative indicators to assessthe contribution of education to human security/insecurity.
