Abstract We explain to Dr. Benjamin (corresponding author) about why low-dose computed tomography reduce lung cancer mortality without significantly reducing all-cause mortality. We also conduct an up-to-date meta-analysis to evaluate low-dose computed tomography clinical effectiveness compared with usual care of lung cancer screening.
