Conflicto, pobreza y desigualdad en Colombia: Un análisis a partir del enfoque de capacidades de Amartya Sen

Abstract

The capabilities approach formulated by Amartya Sen from the Tanner Lecturesof 1979, constitutes the proposal philosophical, ethical and economic framework has influenced the formulation and implementation of public policies, their implementation has made it possible to construct different indexes, among which are: the Human Development Index(HDI) and the Multidimensional Poverty Index(MPI). Therefore, this article examines the phenomenon of poverty in Colombia within the context of the armed conflict and proposed as an evaluative framework of well-being -Effective Enjoyment ofHuman Rights-the capabilities approach of Amartya Sen.
