Laboratory diagnosis of liver pathology in pregnant women

The article presents data on the features of hepatitis A, B, C, D, E in pregnant women, methods for screening verification of liver pathology, clinical and laboratory signs of extrahepatic manifestations of chronic viral hepatitis B and C. Diagnostically significant laboratory parameters of hemochromatosis, autoimmune hepatitis, intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnanсy, pernicious vomiting of pregnancy, acute fatty liver of pregnancy, HELLP syndrome were determined in the pre­sent work. The article describes modern methods for conduc­ting a laboratory “puncture-free” liver biopsy to evaluate fibrosis, hepatitis activity and liver steatosis. The lecture is intended for infectious disease doctors, obstetricians, gynecologists, gastroenterologists, family doctors.
