This work highlights the radiation-induced syntheses of numerous semiconductor nanomaterials, including metal oxides, metal sulfides, metal selenides, polymers, surface precious metal nanoparticles deposition, and vacancy-defect semiconductors. The morphology, size, uniformity, and surface properties of semiconductor nanomaterials are controlled through parameters such as the dissolved oxygen content, pH, stabilizers, complexing agents, absorbed dose, and the dose rate.
