Objective To observe the clinical effect of two-direction inclined maxillary sinus floor augmentation from alveolar crest. Methods Sinus floor were augmented on the same site from two directions with the transalveolar technique. Firstly, lower sinus floor were augmented from the non-implant direction. Secondly, sinus floor were augmented with simultaneous placement of dental implants from the presupposed implant direction. Results Postoperative cone beam computerized tomography (CBCT) proved good effects of sinus floor augmentation, with satisfactory positional relationship with the adjacent teeth. The implant tips were covered by mucous, with no nasal hemorrhagic secretions and no obvious pain. No implant fell off within 6 months after surgery. Conclusion Two-direction maxillary sinus floor augmen-tation from alveolar crest is a possible choice to augment inclined maxillary sinus floor.
