Dynamics of observed and relative survival of patients with malignant tumors of the eye and adnexa

Abstract

For the first time in Russia there is presented dynamics of a 1-, 3-, 5- and 10-year survival of patients with malignant tumors of the eye and adnexa (С69). Survival rates are estimated according to sex, age groups, stage and histological tumor types. It is separately analysed dynamics of a 5-year observed and relative survival of patients with choroids (C69.3) of the eye as compared to the aver- age — European levels of Eurocare-3 and Eurocare-4 programs. It is showed substantial increase of survival rates for the comparableperiods of observations.
