DESILUSÃO POLÍTICA, CRISE DOS GRANDES PARTIDOS E ASCENSÃO DE NOVAS ORGANIZAÇÕES POLÍTICO-PARTIDÁRIAS NA EUROPA CENTRAL PÓS 1989
Abstract
This paper deals with the current political crisis experienced by Central European political parties, heirs of the democratizations of 1989. Our specific focus is on the experience of Czech Republic, a country which among all other ex-republics of the Soviet bloc had the most successful history of political transition and, until 2010, had the most stable party system in the region. Among the causes that have produced the crisis of the main political parties are the early apathetic relationship between citizens and their representatives, the inability of large parties to meet the main demands of the population and the involvement of the main political parties with the newest and most extreme phenomenon of corruption known as State Capture. In fact, the success of new political parties, often classified as antistablishment and / or populists, has been fostered, with each seat occupying significant seats formerly belonging to the major parties.
