The academic success of students, with an increasingly diverse profile, is conditioned largely by an appropriate adjustment to university field and college life. Adaptation to academic and extracurricular activity. At an academic level, students must possess an appropriate level of previous knowledge and skills in core subjects, and be able to acquire new ones successfully. At extracurricular field, students must adapt to a new full environment of all kinds of new services, physical spaces, and under a different administration and a more or less big community. This change concerns the students and also to the university as an institution, political actors and social partners. A suitable orientation of university student will result not only in the development and welfare of the student, but to contribute for achieving a better and a more advanced society. This article describes some of the reference orientation models, both national and international, and reflects on future challenges in this regard.
