There is the analysis of the problems which occur when preparing a good-quality distance learning process in teaching Economics through webinars. The webinar is defined as a training event, designed with the help of the ADDIE method (analysis, design, development, application, evaluation). The method of how to increase efficiency of webinars in teaching economic disciplines in higher education is proposed in this article. It consists of pre-training of students, presentation of topical issues, regular poll of the students, animation, use of hyperlinks and video clips. Time-based algorithm for webinars, technical, methodological strategies and classification of webinars, as well as major events to enhance the listener’s attention have been developed.
