THE REASONS THAT JUSTIFY THE RIGHTS OF PRIVACY: HUMAN DIGNITY AS THE CORE OF PERSONALITY RIGHTS AND SITUATIONS AT DENTISTRY THAT ALLOW FLEXIBILITY (REGISTER AND ANAMNESIS RECORD)

Abstract

This research is about the reasons that justify respect to privacy, intimacy and human dignity as the core of fundamental and personality rights, especially concerning dentistry work. When presented, these personality rights are studied in comparison to the Brazilian Dentistry Ethics Code and some articles are observed in relation to the theme. The goal is to reflect on the importance of the matter, regarding the ethical and legal duty around the patient´s rights protection concerning treatment and personal data, but also the dentist´s professional rights. To achieve this purpose, the bibliographic search method, the deductive approach method and the method of comparative procedure are used.
