Abstract
Social Representations (SR) on health, is the result of the articulation between representa-tions and experiences about the body, and health conceptions and / or practices. Objec-tive: To identify the structure and organiza-tion of the word sexuality in secondary school adolescents to provide elements on sexuality for the prevention of risky sexual behaviors and pregnancy in vulnerable groups. Design from the structural perspec-tive of social representations. The study was conducted in students of a Nayarit entity, there were 17 men and 17 women, between 12 and 14 years old. A sample was integrat-ed. The instrument that was used was an associative technique for the collection of information. Free Listings: these favor the spontaneous expression of the subjects and, therefore, the content evoked is expected to be freer of rationalizations, defense biases or social desirability. For the analysis strategy, the prototypical analysis was used, once obtained from the free listings and the Sali-ence of each term was identified through index. This calculation is based on the fre-quency of mention of the term as on the range of the location that each informant gave each word. To obtain it; Anthropac MS Dos version software and process analysis were used. Of 153 words evoked for the term "sexuality" 78 terms were obtained from men and 73 were referred by women. The word with the highest frequency range was "Sex" with 13 (38.20) evocations and the lowest "bed" with 1 (2.90) evocation. In the first quadrant according to Abric, the first and most frequent elements to be evoked are considered central and represent the stable elements in social representation. In general, they were: Sex, Man, Woman, Children, Love, Gender and Protection. These elements in the general prototypical were: Communication, Condom, Attraction, Couple, Risk, Body, Childhood, Abuse, People, Respect, Kisses, Equality and Toler-ance. The elements mentioned by the men in this quadrant are: Gender, Woman, Body, Couple, People, Respect, Love, Equality and Childhood. Women in return evoke: Risk, Children, Sex, Kisses and Tolerance. The evocations for the general prototypical were: Friendship, STI, Homosexuality, Sexual orientation, Pornography, Confidence, Deci-sion, Responsibility and Vagina. Segregated by sex, men in the last quadrant refer to elements such as: Pornography, Decision, Homosexuality, Responsibility, STIs and Vagina. Women, for their part, express the following elements: Trust, STI, Orientation, Couple, Man, Woman, Love, Protection, Communication, Gender and Attraction.
