Faire passerelle conviviale avec les plus vulnérabilisées : une perspective d’un tiers-lieu comme marge créatrice d’inclusion

Abstract

This article, resulted from a CIFRE thesis (2021-2025), aims to contribute to the ongoing work seeking to understand the intersections between support spaces for individuals in vulnerable situations and so-called alternative and empowerment spaces. Within the contemporary context of the French third-place movement, this research offers a reflection on the socio-spatial and sensory modalities of a holistic approach to inclusion through the lens of caringpractices that unfold within the dynamics of these spaces. Empirically based on a third place associated with an inclusive housing scheme for people with disabilities, the study highlights the sensitive and proximate relationships that these individuals develop within the space, the renewed forms of caring that may result, as well as the effects of these practices on reducing and/or exacerbating feelings of exclusion and discrimination.
