Trying methodologies for tourism management in indigenous areas
Abstract
This article wishes to contribute to the Indian tourism of Brazil. Certainly there exist a great number of studies on anthropology and other human sciences about Indians groups, but very few concerning the space management adequate to this kind of development. This subject is polemic owing the fact that some intellectuals prefer to preserve Indians from tourist contacts. By another hand, many Indian communities had opened their villages to tourism, but without enough “savoir faire”. Also, they have established some conventional Charts where this purpose is indorsed. As far as their experience is very weak on this kind of organization, this article-essay could represent a step to their considerations. Looking for this goal, we must first of all to consider how to shape the management of national parks and therefore how to adequate them to Indian spaces and tourists conveniences. This idea becomes even stronger when we remark that a great number of Indian communities are placed inside national parks: a case where we could probably to cluster them.
