CONSIDERAÇÕES SOBRE O ENSINO DA LEITURA E A APRENDIZAGEM DA ESCRITA

Abstract

Este texto se dedica a tecer considerações sobre a alfabetização no passado e no presente. Para tal, objetiva compreender modos de pensar o ensino da leitura e a aprendizagem da escrita a partir das análises de um manual utilizado no século XIX e da teoria que fundamentou as políticas e práticas de alfabetização na década de 1990. Conclui que as propostas de ensino e o modo como a aprendizagem tem sido pensada se assentam na separação entre o mundo da cultura e o mundo da vida. Tanto a linguagem como as crianças são abstratamente concebidas sem consideração à realidade concreta da vida da linguagem e da vida das crianças. Palavras-chave: Leitura. Ensino da língua. Alfabetização. Crianças. Abstract This text is devoted to weave considerations about literacy in the past and present. To this end, it aims to understand the ways of thinking the teaching reading and the learning of writing from the analyzes of a manual used in the nineteenth century and of the theory that subsidized the policies and practices of literacy in the 1990s. It concludes that the proposed of teaching and the way that learning has been thought are based on the separation between the world of culture and the world of live. Both language and children are abstractly conceived without regard to the concrete reality of the life of language and lives of children. Keywords: Reading; Language teaching; Literacy; Children
