Secret lives and infamous omissions: notes about “Narradoras Argentinas”, a women’s collection

Abstract

This article intends to reflect on the enhancement of the reissued works -some of them published for the first time as posthumous- in the “Narradoras Argentinas” collection and to analyze the place of the women writers and their texts within the national literature, considering the contexts of production, publication and reception. A journey through certain aspects of the narratives will be addressed, in order to stand out those features of originality and disruption, and of continuity and reformulation in relation to the hegemonic enclaves, which will allow us to reflect on the traditions, the literary lineages and the dialogues between past and present.
