This article presents the dynamics of development of the Zona Franca Verde (PZFV) in Amazonas, where the challenge of sustainability is put in the size of the insertion of Ecological Economics in economic practices. For better understanding, setting forth the concept of Bioextrativismo - the extraction for life, or the understanding of man as part of biodiversity and biodiversity as part of the life of man - that shapes the rationality in environmental caboclos, Indians, rubber tappers, varzeiros, praieros, riparian, chestnuts, pudding, hunters, benzedores, people of earth-firm, lagueiros, canoeiros, igarapezeiros, boatmen, farmers, fishermen, growers of jute, among others. The forest and natural resources are seen as essential to man and this also is noted as part of nature and the space where it is inserted leading to multiple uses of its territory, ensuring the sustainability of the Amazonian areas and must be kept in Development policies.
