Necessity, difficulty and solutions of research training in residency program

Abstract

The development of residency training and evaluating system is very important. Besides training in clinical skills, it is necessary to implement a comprehensive training program including the capacity building of scientific research. This review aims to discuss the necessity and the challenges of research training at present and also discuss how to increase residency research productivity, and hope to improve the quality of residency training.
