Abstract

The appreciation of architecture should be a priority in primary education to represent an artistic manifestation of vital importance for humanity throughout history and therefore this article refers to its theoretical foundations and definitions, as well as conceptual, formal, typological and functional to be treated for their appreciation for what disagree with the definitions assumed by the acting didactic failing to achieve a comprehensive view on the definition of this event, it is proposed and a new definition is assumed.
