The article claims that the axiomatic core, in the context of which the interpretation of the concept of «trust structure» is performed, is synthesized on the basis of A. Giddens’s theory of structuration and Y.F. Fukuyama’s social capital theory. The main сonstituents of the axiomatic core explain the formation and functioning of the «trust structure» in social practices. The author of the article considers the specificity of application of theoretical principles revealed by the analysis of the «trust structures» in terms of postSoviet societies (including Ukrainian.) It is assumed that the formation of «trust structures» in postSoviet social environment is determined not only by the interaction of individual and collective subjects integrated into the web of trust, but also by the existence of mechanisms for the regulation of trust relationships, which, in their turn, are defined by the cultural traditions of society. The author puts forward her own definition of the main concept and emphasizes the fact that the structure of trust in society is formed by interaction of trust relationship subjects and regulation mechanisms of trust relationship.
