The aim of this paper is to present the first experience in application of Teletandem method as additional tool for learning a second foreign language in context of University in Venice, Torino and Novi Sad. Teletandem enables students to develop some very important language skills, to access to a foreign culture in a new and original way, as well as to develop their didactic abilities. Learning a foreign language in a virtual social ambient can develop autonomy of students, who have the opportunity to practice a foreign language with native speaker in authentic communicative situation, through bilingual discussions and conversation of their own choice.
