The Orientalists approach to the study of Islamic history = منهج المستشرقين في دراسة التاريخ الإسلامي

Abstract

Orientalists were encouraged, honored and cared for by their countries and peoples to stand up to the civilization of the East, especially the Islamic East. The result of that interest, the Orientalists produced 70,000 books in a century and a half in the field of Islamic History, its doctrines, and traditions etc. Since the history of Islam and its civilization is one of the most oriental sciences that have been targeted by distortions, falsification and trampling of the importance of history in the life of nations, especially the nation of Islam, we have been exposed to the methodology of Orientals in the field of Islamic history and presented the work of Orientalists in the parameter of the contemporary scientific methodology and measuring it by its principals, but we found it despite their claim, to abide by the rules and guidelines of the scientific method, this paper shed light on these studies.
